Accelerating your Time-to-Market through agile 3D glass microfabrication and monolithic integration with our ultrafast laser technology, FEMTOPRINT®.
In fast-moving industries like MedTech, Integrated Photonics, Quantum Technologies and Watchmaking speed is a competitive necessity. Leveraging our core FEMTOPRINT® technology, we provide a high-velocity prototyping path that delivers ready-to-use, functional microdevices without the need for expensive masks or complex toolsets.
What exactly does rapid prototyping of glass microdevices involve?
Our vertical integration strategy ensures that every prototype is developed with scalability in mind. By combining proprietary ultrafast laser micromachining with industry-standard fabrication, we achieve the highest quality outputs under ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards—from the very first iteration.
What are the technical advantages of femtosecond laser glass microfabrication for R&D and product development teams?
From Concept to Functional Microdevice. Whether you are developing Life Sciences lab-on-a-chip systems, advanced Photonics interconnects, or micro-opto-electro-mechanical systems (MOEMS), FEMTOPRINT provides the expertise to turn R&D concepts into reliable, scalable, and market-ready products.
Your prototype in 4 steps
01. Feasibility Consultation
Share your design requirements, application context, and constraints. Our engineers assess technical feasibility, identify design risks, and propose the optimal process path at no cost and no commitment. (Free · No commitment)
02. Design Review & DfM Optimization
We review your CAD file and apply Design for Manufacturing principles to ensure your prototype is producible, precise, and already optimized for the path to production. Modifications are fast, no mask updates needed. (Typically 5–7 business days)
03. Fabrication & Post-Processing
Our FEMTOPRINT® ultrafast laser platform machines your device directly from glass, no photomasks, no polymer molds. Post-processing steps (bonding, surface treatment, coating, dicing) are executed in-house under ISO-controlled conditions. (4–8 weeks average)
04. Delivery & Scale-Up Roadmap
You receive functional, test-ready glass microdevices with full traceability documentation. Our team debrief with you on results and, when you're ready, we define the scale-up path using the same production platform.
